Helping Single Moms in Crisis
Flower Mound Women in Business (FMWIB) is providing support for single moms coming out of crisis, with a focus on "Guidance through the Gap" in the DFW/Metroplex. We are working to help single mothers and their children during the difficult transitions they face. FMWIB will refer single moms to the resources they need to help get through difficult times.
Partnering with Local Charity
We are partnering with local women's charity, Arms of Hope, that aligns with this pillar of Flower Mound Women in Business.
Arms of Hope is a local 501(c)3 non-profit care organization assisting children and single-mother families in need; we are proud to be helping with support for their Denton home, Boles Children's Home and their comprehensive residential care programs for children. Arms of Hope provides a safe haven for children and single-mother families helping them avoid homelessness, poverty, abuse and neglect, and helping them lead lives of sustaining, productive citizenship.
